wanderers moves to Balaka stadium

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers FC is expected to submit a written application to change their home ground to Balaka Stadium, unconfirmed sources reveal.

The team aims to finish their Super League games outside of Kamuzu Stadium, citing unspecified reasons.

Trust issues with co-users are speculated to be the cause, although this remains unverified. This comes a days after a 2:1 loss to their rival Bullets in the Blantyre City derby.

Following the loss Wanderers fans have been calling for authorities to consider the relocation of their home ground citing out football traditional beliefs.

Notably Wanderers have previously called Balaka Stadium their home ground.

Historically Kamuzu Stadium has been used as home ground for both FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Mukuru wanderers.
