The embattled opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has announced the appointment of Alfred Gangata as party’s Vice President for the Central Region, replacing Zelia Chakale who joined MCP last year and Grezelder Jeffrey who fired from the party.
In a letter that Our News Platform Mw has seen signed by Administrative Secretary for DPP, Francis Mphepo indicates that Gangata has been appointed by party’s Central Executive Committee.
“I am pleased to inform you that you have Central Executive Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party has appointed you as Vice President for central region with immediate effect in accordance with Article 9 section 5(a) of the DPP constitution,” reads the statement.
