Suleman Chitera The commemoration of World Radio Day is underway in Zomba.
Minister of Information and Digitalisation Moses Kunkuyu is presiding over the commemoration.
Globally, the day is celebrated on 13 February every year and this year, the day is being celebrated under the theme: “Radio and Peace.”
The World Radio Day Day was set aside by UNESCO to celebrate radio as a tool for communication and information dissemination.
