The Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) says there is a need for concerted efforts to support people affected by the devastating effects of tropical #CycloneFreddy until the next harvesting season.
MAM spokesperson, Sheikh Dinala Chabulika says people affected by floods lost everything they could lean on, hence the call.
He made the remarks today at Nyezelera Primary School ground in Phalombe where the organization donated food and non food items to 600 households valued at K20 million.
One of the survivors, Alinafe Bokosi, has described the donation as timely.
