The National Bank of Malawi has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting golf development in the country following the successful return of the National Bank Invitational Golf Tournament, which attracted about 110 golfers after a three-year break.

Speaking after the prize presentation, National Bank Head of Retail Banking, William Chatsala, said the event allows the bank to strengthen relationships with customers while promoting golf in Malawi.

In the team category, the winning team scored 88 points and received K6 million, followed by runners-up with 87 points (K4 million) and third place with 86 points (K3 million).
Individual winners included Ruth Mvula and Frank Mandala (Nearest to the Pin), and Esther Kawale and Sabil Jussab (Longest Drive), each receiving K500,000.
