With less than 48 hours remaining until the end of the transfer market, one Premier League star is willing to take a pay cut to join Arsenal
Arsenal could still make a late addition to their squad before the summer transfer window closes on Friday, with reports suggesting that an experienced Premier League star is open to taking a pay cut to join Mikel Arteta’s project at the Emirates.
The Gunners have had a relatively quiet transfer window, with only a few significant additions. They have secured the signings of Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino, and made David Raya’s loan move from Brentford permanent earlier this summer.
However, Arsenal have also seen several departures, including Emile Smith Rowe and Fabio Vieira, with the latter rejoining FC Porto on loan. The Italian has informed Sterling that he is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and has been offered to several clubs in England.
