CTS Group Managing Director Jacqueline Bokosi Kilmer has been recognised for her contribution to promoting men’s mental health and supporting initiatives that encourage men to speak openly about their challenges.
Tibe Khombe and Young Achievers presented Kilmer with the recognition for her “exceptional contribution and meaningful support” towards men’s mental health.
Young Achievers Executive Director Jefferson Milanzie commended Kilmer for her efforts to promote conversations around men’s mental health and encourage greater awareness of the challenges men face.
Receiving the recognition, Kilmer said the honour had motivated her to continue supporting mental health initiatives.
“I am grateful for this recognition. It is an honour to have my contribution acknowledged, but more importantly, it reminds me of the need to continue supporting conversations around men’s mental health,” she said.
Kilmer said society should create environments where men feel comfortable discussing their struggles and seeking support.
“We need to create safe spaces where men can talk about what they are going through without fear of judgement,” she said.
The recognition highlights growing efforts to encourage open conversations about men’s mental health, reduce stigma and promote access to emotional and psychological support.
