The Malawi National Netball team, also known as the Malawi Queens, have safely arrived in London from Nottingham ahead of their highly anticipated match against South Africa in the 2025 Vitality Nations Cup on Saturday, February 8th.
According to reports, the team went straight into a loosening session upon arrival, as the players recover from a grueling match against Uganda yesterday. The session is aimed at helping the players relax and rejuvenate ahead of the crucial encounter against South Africa.
Meanwhile, Mbumba Ndasauka, Corporate Affairs Director at Nico, one of the team’s sponsors, has expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance in the tournament so far. “We are happy for them, and when we say the plan is to rebuild the Queens, this is exactly what we meant,” Ndasauka said.
