Kalindo congratulates Police Commissioner Noel Kayira

By Vincent Gunde

Political activist Bon Kalindo has congratulated Commissioner Noel Mlowoka Kayira for his appointment as Deputy Inspector General of Police responsible for Administration that gold is gold, thanking the heavens for promoting man of the people.

Kalindo said Commissioner Kayira was thrown away from Blantyre to Bvumbwe in Thyolo after failing to order the police to fire teargas to DPP supporters who camped outside Blantyre police station to make sure that arrested DPP senior official Sameer Suleman should go nowhere.

He has encouraged Kayira to continue doing good job in the Malawi Police Service (MPS) working professionally contrary to others who are being promoted for supporting MCP evil activities in government.

Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said Commissioner Kayira has proved to Malawians that he has no side in politics saying these are the kinds of police Malawians wants other than others who are taking the police as born in it.

Kalindo said the recent release of registered voters to cast their votes on the 16th September, 2025 by the Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) should be a wake-up call to opposition parties to unite for one purpose.

He said there is no way southern region districts could register one million and the northern region 800,000 while the central region has registered over 3 million people saying this alone is demanding the opposition parties to open their eyes.

The activist said as per the released Mec figures, signs are on the wall that the 16th September, 2025 elections have already been rigged to favor President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his MCP to bounce back into government.

He said the whole essence of Mec rejecting independent auditors to audit the Smartmatic machines was to hide the figures so that Malawians should go to the polls blanketed on their faces not knowing the rigging scheme by the MCP.

Kalindo has accused Mec of trying to hide through the Council for Non-Governmental Organizations (CONGOMA) so that any organization wishing to audit the Smartmatic machines, has to be verified by CONGOMA if they are registered or not.

“We are a pressure group, concerned citizens, there is no law to bar us from auditing the Smartmatic machines, we are Malawians and the elections are for Malawi,” said Kalind
