Independent Shadow Member of Parliament for Lilongwe City Dzedza Constituency, Lefnos Chigamula, has urged traditional leaders, faith leaders, educators, and young people to support him in the upcoming general elections scheduled for September 16, 2025.

Speaking an engagement meeting with various community leaders at Kalambo Primary School in Lilongwe, Chigamula outlined his manifesto focused on improving educational standards for both primary and secondary schools within the constituency.

Chigamula said he is committed to completing the Nsungwi police unit in Area 25 and planning the establishment of libraries and Information Communication Technology (ICT) centers in all primary schools.

He also emphasized that if elected, he would ensure that school fees and uniforms are provided for orphans and underprivileged children in the constituency.

“Very soon i will be visiting and supporting some of long-standing projects such as Nsungwi police unit, area 25 markets, primary schools and area 25 roads network,” stated Chigamula.

Traditional Leader James Phiri from Area 25 highlighted the urgent need for the completion of the Nsungwi police unit, as well as the renovation of markets and improvement of road networks, which are significant challenges facing the constituents.
