Singini Shines as Wanderers Edge Ekhaya FC

Mighty Wanderers secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Ekhaya FC in the TNM Super League, thanks to a second-half goal from Gaddy Chirwa.

The win propels the Nomads to the top of the league standings, dislodging FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.

Blessings Singini, Wanderers’ central midfield maestro, was voted man of the match for his outstanding performance having worked tirelessly to keep Ekhaya FC at bay, controlling the tempo of the game.

“I’m very excited to be voted man of the match in such an important fixture. We won’t relax because we still have a long way to go,” Singini said.

In his post-match reaction, Enos Chatama, Ekhaya FC Coach vowed to continue working hard and possibly bounce back stronger.

“Wanderers have smartly won the game. We made a mistake, and they capitalized on that and scored that vital goal separating us,” said Chatama

Bob Mpinganjira, Wanderers Coach held the Cowboys for giving his team a torrid time mainly in the first half.

“They were difficult to break in the middle of the park. We made some changes that provided a vital goal.” Mpinganjira praised Ekhaya FC.

With this win, Wanderers now lead the league standings, highlighting their strong contention in the TNM Super League.
