Vice President Jane Ansah has announced her arrival at St. Augustine 2 Primary School grounds in Mangochi for a highly anticipated Democratic Progressive Party rally.
In a Facebook update shared earlier today, she confirmed that she is accompanied by senior DPP officials who will jointly address the gathering.
She said the event has been organized to unpack key developmental plans that President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has prepared for the nation.
The Vice President explained that the rally will serve as a platform for the party leadership to outline projects aimed at improving livelihoods and accelerating national growth.
She emphasized that the DPP government has designed a comprehensive programme intended to uplift communities across Malawi.
Ansah added that the rally also provides her with a special opportunity to personally thank Malawians for voting for the DPP.
She expressed deep appreciation to citizens for choosing President Mutharika as Head of State and for electing her as Vice President.
She highlighted that the electoral mandate given to the party reflects the people’s trust and confidence in its vision for national development.
The Vice President noted that continued engagement with citizens remains essential for ensuring transparency and accountability.
She encouraged residents of Mangochi and surrounding areas to participate actively in the discussion and listen to the plans being presented.
The rally is expected to draw significant attendance as it marks one of the Vice President’s major public engagements since the election.
She reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with President Mutharika to deliver on the promises made during the campaign.
