Mangochi urges central region chiefs to support Mutharika

Karonga based rights activist Comrade Lytone Mangochi, has urged chiefs in the central region of Malawi to support the DPP and President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika if they want their areas to develop.

Mangchi said for many years, chiefs in the region are being used as ladders by MCP politicians to advance their political ambitions saying this is the reason that most parts of the region are in abstract poverty lacking social basic needs.

He said Malawi Congress Party (MCP) politicians have nothing to tell the people of the central region that they did this and that except making themselves rich at the expense of the poor people in the region.

Speaking through a video clip during a tour of duty at Mchinji border post, Mangochi said he went there to appreciate movement of trucks carrying maize to Malawi from Zambia saying what he saw there, has proved that Mutharika has the welfare of citizens at heart.

Mangochi said his visit to Mchinji has proved President Professor Mutharika as second to none, he promise and do what he promised the people that no one will die of hunger in Malawi.

” We saw trucks and trucks loaded with maize on their way to Malawi, Malawians are now in the safe hands of a leader who cares for his people at heart,” he said.

The Activist has dismissed claims which some people in Malawi are making through social media platforms that MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera will bounce back into government in 2030 saying these are blue lies.

Mangochi has claimed that no Malawian can vote for the MCP if the elections are held today, speaking for itself that wethe MCP must forget about government anymore saying they had time to correct the situations but turned the country from better to worse.

He has thanked the DPP and Professor Mutharika for accepting the June, 2020 court sanctioned presidential elections, saying Mutharika left government at the time that forex was readily available and the economy itself was in the right track, Malawians were affording to buy food and other essential goods at affordable prices.

Mangochi said the coming in of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera made lives of the citizens to become unbearable, MCP brought miseries and sufferings in the country forcing some other people to eat wild bushes ( chitedze) as food for their survivals.
