Admarc To Retrench 2500 Employees

By Suleman Chitera Nov24,2022

Out of 4,063 ADMARC employees, 2,498 will be laid off following a vetting process.
In a ministerial statement in parliament, Minister of Agriculture Sam Kawale said a human resource audit at the parastatal has finalised and some workers will go back to work.

Kawale’s revelation comes as ADMARC is set to resume its operations on the 1st of December.

Employees were sent on forced leave on the 31st of August this year, following the government’s plan to restructure the institution.

Kawale said the vetting process helps to get rid of individuals who contributed to the downfall of the parastatal.
