Exploits University Revokes Degree

The Lilongwe based university, the Exploits University has revoked a degree, Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, it awarded to one of its former students, Bridget Thapwile Soko, after she posted a video of herself on her tiktok account burning her degree after failing to secure a job with it.

According to a letter addressed to Bridget, signed by the University President Desmond Bikoko, the university has learnt with disappointment that she(Bridget) recorded a video clip burning the degree that was awarded to her upon completion of studies with the university.

“It is our interpretation that you did this to disgrace and tarnish the image of the university.

“The University is therefore revoking the degree of business administration awarded to you. Our decision will also be made public through two major newspapers, ” reads the letter in part.

According to Bridget, she has stayed four years without securing a job with the degree, hence the reason for burning the degree.
