Malawi Freedom Network FDH bank has pumped in K5 million to support this year’s Press Freedom Day commemorations under the Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA Malawi) scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday in Lilongwe.
The bank’s public relations manager, Lorraine Chikhula says the sponsorship will specifically go towards the MISA Awards Gala which includes sponsorship of several key media award categories.
“We applaud the crucial role the media plays in the country at large and the support it renders to different stakeholders and partners including the financial sector and FDH bank,” said Chikhula.
MISA Malawi representative, Aubrey Mchulu thanked FDH bank for the assistance.
