Drama has surrounded the relinquishing of job by Helen Buluma as Nocma acting chief executive officer as government through the Ministry of Information and Digitalisation has issued a public statement, dismissing a resignation letter by Buluma.

According to a letter from the Ministry that we have seen, government claims that it is not in receipt of the letter, describing the letter as misleading and that it should be treated with contempt it deserves.

The statement further said Buluma was relieved from her duty as the Nocma’s acting CEO. Adding that this was in line with public expectations and determination of the Office of Ombudsman.

The statement further states that the letter which they say Buluma is circulating on social media has come after this relief of her responsibilities and has never been submitted to the Office of the President and Cabinet.
