Govt Rubbished Opposition DPP Statement

Government has rubbished claims by the opposition, Democratic Progressive Party, that the New Year’s speech by president Lazarus Chakwera was empty and senseless.

In a statement signed by Shadreck Namalomba spokesperson for DPP, the opposition party has said the speech by Chakwera lacked sense of direction and showed disregard on the problems Malawians are facing.

But in reaction, Gospel Kazako, minister of information said that the opposition DPP lacks positive criticism saying it is full of negativity towards every government decision.

Kazako has since said government is focused on finding lasting solutions to problems the citizenry is facing.
