MEC engages stakeholders on 2025 elections

Chairperson for the Malawi Electoral Commission, Justice Dr. Chifundo Kachale says it is crucial for all stakeholders to be familiar with the new electoral laws as the country is preparing for the 2025 tripartite elections.

Kachale made the remarks on Monday during an engagement with electoral stakeholders at Mudzi Owala in Ntcheu district.

Meanwhile, Chief Education Officer for Ntcheu district Veronica Nyaka who represented the District Commissioner has urged stakeholders to take heed of the new laws for a fair and credible elections.

Representatives of different political parties and members of the clergy are also attending the MEC interface.
