Opposition leader in Parliament, Kondwani Nankhumwa, has rebutted allegations that he wants to re-introduce Age Limit Bill to Parliament.
In a statement, Nankhumwa has accused certain Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) members of exploiting his name for political gain.
He reaffirmed his commitment to political competition, prepared to face any opponent, including Peter Mutharika, in the 2025 presidential election.
This statement follows warnings from activists and religious figures against debating the Age Limit Bill, urging MPs to prioritize addressing the country’s socioeconomic issue.
