The United Democratic Front UDF Acting President Lilian Patel has made some appointments to fill some vacant positions in the party’s National Executive Committee.
A statement signed by UDF Acting Spokesperson, Yusuf Mwawa, says Ismail Nkumba MP, is now Acting Vice Secretary General while Hasheem Amulani Banda has been appointed Acting Vice President for the Eastern Region.
Patel has also appointed Esther Jolobala MP, as Acting National Campaign Director, while Innocent Baisi is now National Director of Research for UDF.
The statement says the appointments are with immediate effect.
