Russian President Vladimir Putin has told Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Abbas Araqchi, that there is no justifiable reason for Israel to have launched a war against Iran.
Putin made the remarks during a diplomatic engagement with the Iranian official, where he reaffirmed that Russia is ready to support the people of Iran during this time of conflict.
In response, Araqchi expressed gratitude to Putin for criticizing the United States over its recent bombing campaign in Iran, saying Russia continues to stand for justice and fairness on the global stage.
