Select Financial Services Responds To Cyclone Freddy

Select Financial Services has donated K20 million to the Malawi Red Cross Society to help in supporting people affected by Cyclone Freddy.

Chief Executive Officer for Select Financial Services, Webster Mbekeani, said there is a need for collaborative efforts in responding to the aftermath of Cyclone Freddy.

Director of Programmes and Development for MRCS, Prisca Chisala, appreciated the gesture and calls for more investments towards disaster preparedness and risk management.

According to Chisala, so far MRCS has managed to mobilise K500 million out of the K6 billion which is needed to reach the affected people.
