Nyasa Big Bullets have signed Ekwendeni Hammers, offensive midfielder, Chawanangwa Gumbo, 20, on a three-year contract. Bullets have confirmed the new signing. It says Gumbo had 20 Super League appearances this season with Hammers and scored four goals. A few weeks ago, The People's Team signed forward Maxwell Gasten Phodo as a free agent after contractual disagreements with his former club, Silver Strikers. Before joining Hammers, Gumbo had a stint with Sanwecka FC in Mzuzu. Nyasa Big Bullets will face Tanzania side Simba Sporting Club in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
