Police reveal they have so far visited all the places where civil rights activist and CDEDI Executive Director Sylvester Namiwa is reported to have been taken to during his alleged abduction.

Deputy National Police spokesperson, Harry Namwaza has told Rainbow Online that this is part of their on-going investigations on the matter.

He says they will update the nation on their findings once their investigations are over.

Namiwa allegedly got abducted by unknown people; hours before leading protests pushing for the removal of presidential immunity from prosecution in Lilongwe.

Reports indicate Namiwa was later found in Nathenje.

He claimed his alleged abduction was the deliberate ploy by the Tonse administration to silence critical voices. But he vowed never to relent.
