President of the United Democratic Front (UDF), Atupele Muluzi, has called for a thorough and professional investigation into the arrest of a suspect accused of flying a drone over the residence of Vice President Jane Ansah, describing the matter as a serious national security concern.

In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Muluzi said he has been closely monitoring the developments surrounding the incident, emphasizing that the safety of the country’s second-highest office bearer must never be compromised.

He urged the Malawi Police Service to handle the matter with urgency and professionalism, ensuring that all facts are established and appropriate action is taken against those involved.
