Nathenje Parish recently handed over mattresses to girls residing in a hostel, aiming to provide a conducive environment for their education.

Mai Esther Jumbo, a lecturer at Nkhoma University, reminded the girls to care for the mattresses, emphasizing their value and the church’s need for educated individuals.

The mattresses, costing K2.4 million Malawi Kwacha, were procured using funds raised from a committee-organized fundraising event earlier this month.
