Malawi Freedom Network Police have confirmed that one student has died in an accident involving a bus that carried Mary Mount Secondary School students
from Lilongwe to Mzuzu.
The accident happened at Luviri along the M1 Road in Mzimba.
Confirming the death, Regional Police Public Relations Officer for the North, Maurice Chapola, said several students have been injured and have been referred to Mzimba District Hospital for medical attention.
