Mighty Mukuru Wanderers has given their interim coach, Meke Mwase, a permanent job at the team after being impressed with his performance at the team.
The team’s Chief Executive Officer, Panganeni Ndovi, has confirmed that Mwase has done a lot to the team and deserves the hot seat at the Lali Lubani side.
“During his stay, he has shown great leadership and mentorship skills that has completely changed the team to do well in the League. We are happy to have him and we expect more from him.” Said Ndovi.
This appointment comes after the team’s 10-0 victory over rookies, Baka City at the Kamuzu Stadium as they keep pressure on league leaders, Silver Strikers, who are four points ahead of them.
Mwase took the interim role following the departure of Nsanzurwimo Ramadan after the team’s back to back defeats against Silver Strikers and Mzuzu City Hammers in May this year.
