The Malawi National Football Team, the Flames, has learned its fate in the 2025 CAF TotalEnergies CHAN qualifier second round.
Following a thrilling 3-1 victory over Egypt’s Pharaohs in the second leg on Sunday night, South Africa’s Bafana Bafana secured a 4-2 aggregate win and a spot in the next round.
The Flames, who convincingly defeated Comoros Island 4-0 on aggregate in their two-legged tie at Bingu National Stadium, will now face the mighty Bafana Bafana in the second round who previously drawn 1-1 with Egypt in the first leg in Bloemfontein.
The upcoming clash between the Flames and Bafana Bafana promises to be an exciting encounter, with both teams eager to advance to the next stage of the competition.
