The 14th Revolutionary Party, Muvi wa Chilungamo, has claimed that Malawi has become a jungle state where law enforcers are now gangsters saying it is pathetic for the incumbent government led by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to tolerate and allow this culture to take place, the future of Malawi is doomed.
The MRP has condemned in strongest terms possible the government, Malawi Police Service (MPS) and Malawi Defense Force (MDF) for allowing Malawi to be a “Ninja State” saying democracy that gives citizens an opportunity to exercise their right to demonstrate peacefully is now a crime whose Police are “masked men” not on Malawi Police and MDF.
The Party says old and recycled politicians are destroying Malawi’s robust democracy of constitutional law in the country observing that recycled politicians have nothing to do with the future of Malawi and her growing population.
Writing in a statement dated 26th June, 2025 signed by its President Bantu Saunders Jumah the Utopian, the MRP says until Malawi start to purge old and recycled politicians shall this country begin to see the fruits of democracy and the rule of law.
The MRP says the country’s democracy don’t have any meaning because the torch-bearers don’t clearly know the actual and true meaning of democracy saying as from 1991, all men and women that speaks of democracy are descendants of one rule if not their offspring.
It says today, no politician particularly those who enter into government have one party flag or colour in their homes observing that all of them were once MCP, UDF, DPP, and PP and today, they have gone back home into MCP.
The MRP says it is the recycled politicians that come from other political parties and the die-hard traditionalists of one party state that have captured President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera saying President Chakwera wanted the rebranded MCP to go back to its brutal past under his life.
It says Malawi needs a strong leader who know the parasites and bacteria that infects and poison the new life of democracy and the rule of law saying the blanket of recycled politicians and old guards have covered even the youth of the country that were supposed to change the status quo.
The MRP says Malawi is desperate need of Revolutionary leaders who against all odds must purge the recycled and old guard politicians if this country is to be liberated and freed observing that the people changed DPP in June, 2020 hoping for change but because of old recycled politicians, Malawi remains a country without progress.
“As a country, we are ashamed to have used MK17 trillion in a space of 5 years without anything to show on the ground as development or progress,” reads the statement in part.
The MRP says it has noted with a great concern that the biggest problem the people have as a country is that Malawian voters believe and trust recycled leaders, saying the country will never develop or transform if old and recycled leaders are entrusted with government system and machinery.
The Party has urged the citizens of Malawi to think for and think of changing their mindset and realize that the fate of Malawi lies in the hands of old and recycled politicians who know nothing about transformation and development.
The MRP says if there is any space remaining for Malawi to be exhumed from this grave, citizens (voters) must surprise the old and recycled politicians by voting for patriotic, Nationalistic and realists who will make sure that all old and recycled politicians go home to attend to tribal matters.
