Special Appeal

Malawi Freedom Network (MFN) has received a request for assistance from HEVSO Organization Limited, a women-led community-based group in Makuta Village, Nkhotakota. HEVSO works with school-going adolescent girls, young women, and marginalized families living in poverty.

Why this appeal?

Many rural girls miss school due to lack of menstrual products, leading to absenteeism and high dropout rates. HEVSO also seeks to empower women economically and support learners with basic education supplies.

What we need

School supplies (books, pens, uniforms).

Menstrual hygiene kits to reduce absenteeism among girls.

Small revolving loans for women to boost household income.

Target: Support 350 girls & 100 boys with an initial budget of MWK 5,850,000 (£2,500).
