Jane Ansah has expressed her joy at being warmly welcomed by traditional leaders in Chitipa.
She emphasized that she does not take the gesture of being received in their land for granted.
Ansah stressed that once elected into government, she will ensure that her administration works closely with chiefs.
She pointed out that traditional leaders are the ones who understand the real challenges faced by people in their respective areas.
She also pledged that the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) remains a party that fulfills its promises.
Ansah said everything contained in the DPP manifesto will be implemented once the party is ushered back into power.
She highlighted key issues from the manifesto of Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
These include fighting corruption, improving road infrastructure, strengthening the health sector, advancing education, boosting agriculture, and empowering the youth.
Ansah has already held highly attended rallies at Misuku, Kameme, and Kapoka.
Her campaign tour is expected to conclude with a major rally at Chitipa Boma.
