Several passengers are stranded in Dubai after a prolonged delay involving a Uganda Airlines flight, with travelers reporting that they have been unable to return home for three days due to the absence of an aircraft.

The affected passengers, who had booked their tickets in advance with Uganda Airlines, say they checked in as scheduled at Dubai International Airport, expecting to fly back to Uganda. However, despite completing check-in procedures, no aircraft was made available for the journey.

According to the travelers, they waited for several hours at the airport with little to no information from airline officials regarding the cause of the delay or when an alternative flight would be arranged. Some passengers claim they were later informed verbally that the flight had been postponed, but without a confirmed departure time.

The situation has caused growing frustration and distress among the stranded passengers, many of whom say they are incurring additional accommodation and living expenses while waiting in Dubai. Others have raised concerns about missed work commitments and family responsibilities back home.
As of the time of filing this report, Uganda Airlines had not issued a detailed public statement explaining the delay or outlining when the affected passengers would be flown back. Travelers are calling on the airline to provide clear communication and immediate solutions to resolve the situation.
Efforts to obtain an official comment from the airline were ongoing.
