Malawian business strategist Rhodrick Junaid Kalumpha has donated K6 million towards the Chiwanja cha Ayao cultural ceremony scheduled for Sunday, October 11, in Maganga, Salima District.
Kalumpha, who is based in the United Kingdom, said the contribution is intended to support cultural preservation initiatives and promote girls’ education.
The donation highlights the role of individuals and well-wishers in supporting traditional ceremonies, preserving Malawi’s cultural heritage and investing in education.
Kalumpha recently received the Trade Finance Leader of the Year – Impact Award at the 2026 TTP Corporate Excellence Awards in the United Kingdom, recognising his achievements in trade finance leadership.
His contribution to the Chiwanja cha Ayao ceremony adds support to efforts to celebrate Yao cultural traditions while advancing educational opportunities for girls in Malawi.
