The Asian Muslim Relief Aid has appealed to the Asian business community to immediately release K50,000 to all domestic and shop employees in light of the damage Cyclone Freddy has caused in the urban areas of Blantyre.
In a statement on Monday, Asian Muslim Relief Aid Chairpersons Faisal Aboo and Faisal Kassam have said the K50,000 should be given to each worker as relief aid.
According to Aboo and Kassam, further action will be communicated soon as they await a report from the Department of Disaster Management Affairs.
