CSO Condemns Corrupt CSO’s

Eastern Region Civil Society Organisations (CSO) Coalition on good governance has condemned the conduct of some CSOs, whom they claim are being used to serve the interests of some politicians to attack the government.

The grouping’s chairperson Susan Kamwendo, who engaged reporters during a press briefing at Gymkhana Hall in Zomba, said CSOs should concentrate on providing checks and balances to the government.

“Despite demonstrations being a constitutional right, it should not be used as a threatening tool to government to advance personal interests,” Kamwendo said.
