The relationship between former Reserve Governor who is also DPP presidential candidate Dr Dalitso Kabambe and his party president Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has taken a new twist with Kabambe camp launching a fierce attack on Mutharika”s candidature with a new brand fake polls which show APM trailing to his anointed heir, Kabambe with double digits.
According to the polls, which is currently being shared on various social media platforms show Dalitso Kabambe with commanding lead of 42%, while Peter Mutharika has been pegged at 21%, Kondwani Nankhumwa at 15% Bright Msaka at 8%, Joseph Mwanamveka at 1%.
In head to head match up it means Kabambe has roasted Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika by 21%.
However, reports from Kabambe camp say they are very furious with Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika who has been secretly campaigning for Dr Kabambe to take over the party from him at the forth coming July Convention before he changed his heart to run against the very same person.
Of late Mutharika has been sending different envoys including Pastor Tony Yolamu Nyirenda President of Adventist Church to urge Kabambe not to continue with campaigning as he is entering the race soon but Kabambe has snubbed such describing as “inhumane and destructive” for he has spent his every tambala campaigning for the top position.
