Dowa Receives New Primary School

UK well-wishers under the banner Great Minds Bright Future have constructed a brand new Chunzu Primary School in Traditional Authority Mkukula in Dowa.

Founder of Great Minds Bright Future, Dave Armstrong, said his focus is on children’s welfare hence the development.

Speaking after officially receiving the school, Minister of Education Science and Technology Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima, appreciated the gesture and called for more partners in the education sector

Headteacher for the school, Christopher Manda, said the old school was in bad shape and the blocks were not enough to accommodate all the learners.

Member of Parliament for the area Halima Daudi who is also the Deputy Minister of Health urged community members to take care of the school.

The school has close to 2,000 learners.
