EGENCO says blackouts to end by September 22, 2022.

Labren Sondhi Director of Planning and Development at EGENCO says the blackouts that the country is experiencing now will end by 22 September this year.

Sondhi has disclosed this during a meeting with a Joint committee on Natural resources committee, Public Accounts Committee, Trade Committee and Legal affairs committee.

According to Sondhi, currently they have set a team that is working on the problem.

He says, another team has also been set to inquire into what is causing the blackouts.

The Joint committee, summoned Egenco to the meeting to discuss current blackouts, electricity tariffs and single buyer system.
