Fuel Shortage Hit Lilongwe

Fuel shortage has hit most parts of Lilongwe, with many gas stations reporting to have dry wells of the commodity.

Our spot-checks in the Capital City reveal that motorists have been queuing for the past four days to access the product, a development which has also resulted in panic buying.

Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority Spokesperson Fitina Khonje says the situation will be rectified as most fuel pump stations will be supplied today.
