Govt Considers Revocation Of Concession Agreement With Mota Engil

Government has expressed concern with how ports are being managed in the country saying it is considering revocation of the 11-year concession agreement with Mota Engil.

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Jacob Hara, said this when he toured Nkhatabay port.

In 2012 Government of Malawi entered into a concession agreement with Mota Engil to manage the ports.

The minister says he is disappointed with the status of the ports.
