Kalindo Says MCP Should Stop Blocking Demonstrations

By Suleman Chitera Jul20,2022

Political right activist Bon Kalindo says the Malawi Congress Party-led government should stop blocking demonstrations in the country as they found power through the same.

Kalindo claims that MCP is using other people to get court injunctions which are aimed at blocking people’s right of demonstrating.

According to Kalindo, demonstrations played a vital role for Chakwera to get to the presidency office.

He has since demanded the immediate release of people who have been arrested in Lilongwe over delayed justice delivery system.

MCP spokesperson, Maurice Munthali is yet to comment on Kalindo’s allegation.
