Kalindo urges Malawians to continue praying for Chilima’s answers

Political activist Bon Kalindo has urged Malawians to continue praying for God’s interventions to provide answers to millions of questions surrounding the tragic death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, in the plane crash at Chikangawa forest on Monday, 10th June, 2024.

Kalindo said it is sad that 7 months have gone and Malawi is preparing for the 16thSeptember, 2025 General Elections with its people blanketed without knowing what exactly led to the plane which carried Dr. Chilima to Mzuzu crashed in the Chikangawa forest.

He expressed hope that God is not sleeping, was there in the Chikangawa forest watching everything happening and how long it will take, light shall conquer darkness, those behind the death of Dr. Chilima and eight others, will be revealed.

Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said his prophecy m ad e in November, 2024 that Dr. Michael Usi who was a close friend and former Vice President of the UTM is strategizing himself to form his own political party in Malawi has come to pass.

Kalindo said Dr. Usi has managed to collect one million signatures across the country and very soon, he will launch his new political party seven months after the demise of Dr. Chilima and a month after he was expelled from the UTM.

He said what Dr. Usi has done is speaking for itself that power, money and fame is making Dr. Usi to be in politics claiming that he did not have time even to visit the scene of the plane crash in the Chikangawa forest where his friend perished.

The activist said even President Chakwera did not have time also to visit the site beside Dr. Chilima being his Vice President at that time but only went to the Chikangawa forest to see a tree which was planted by the country’s first President Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda.

He said if Dr. Chilima can rose from the dead to see the party cloth of Dr. Michael Usi bearing his face on it with UTM and PP colors, he would cry and not understand why Dr. Usi has done that being a friend who was eating with the departed Dr. Chilima in the same plate.

“The formation of a new political party in the Llomwe belt region has an aim behind to split the votes among three parties of UTM, DPP and Odya zake Alibe Mulandu,” said Kalindo.

He has faulted the Registrar of Political Parties wrong by allowing Dr. Usi to print his cloth bearing his face similar to UTM and PP describing this as very unfair saying all this has been made to divide the votes for people in southern and eastern regions to give the MCP an upper hand of winning the elections.
