Maranatha to reward top MSCE performers with a Victoria Falls trip

Private Education service provider-Maranatha Academy has disclosed plans to fly to Victoria Falls in Zambia students who will do extremely well in the 2022 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations.

Maranatha Academy Managing Director Ernest Kawonga has told MIJ Online that students from both private and public schools will be legible for this great award.

Kaonga said the move is aimed at promoting quality education by providing incentives to learners for them to work extra hard.

According to Kaonga, the top students mainly those who will score six points will fly to Victoria Falls where they will partake in various recreation activities.

“They will share stories among themselves.This is also one way for them to refresh their brains. ,” he said.

He has since expressed commitment that his school will continue awarding top MSCE performers.

For years, Maranatha Academy has been awarding top scorers with various awards including recreation trips.

After finishing the 2022 MSCE examinations, Maranatha students were treated to an air travel to Lilongwe and according to Parents Teachers Association chairperson Chawezi, this was one way of appreciating the students for their discipline conduct throughout their study at the school.
