MOAM Calls Mera To Allows Members To Buy Fuels In Jerry Cans

The Minibus Owners Association of Malawi (MOAM) is sending a passionate plea to the Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) to allow its members to buy fuel in jerry cans.

The cry comes as the country continues to endure acute fuel supplies attributed to a prevailing shortage of forex.

The situation has left many motorists spending days and nights at various service stations in an attempt to purchase the commodity.

MOAM Secretary General, Coxley Kamange says they are concerned with the situation, considering their task of ferrying people to various places of work and business.
