The game between Sathamapira football club and Center FC has marked the commencement of Joyce Chitsulo 2.5 million kwacha football and netball league.
The launching ceremony that took place at Chiwembu league will be played by teams from Mpandadzi ward .
Over 15 teams have registered to battle it out with winners in football to go home with K800,000.The winners in Netball will get K400,000.
This auspicious occasion was graced by football and netball matches .In Netball, Chiwembu sisters who emerged winners over Sathamapira sisters got home K70,000 and Sathamapira sisters were given K30,000.
The football match between Sathamapira and Center ended in one all draw and each team pocketed K100,000.
Snr chief Nthache who was also the guest of honor has thanked Hon Chitsulo for coming again with an improved offer this year to support sports in her area .
Chitsulo has vowed to continue supporting the youth through sports and other activities.
The league will he be played for 7 months .
