Silver Strikers Supporters Executive Committee Dissolved

Silver Strikers board has announced immediate dissolution of supporters executive committee.

According to statement signed by Peter Masiye Company Secretary the decision is because the committee has allegedly been inciting violence and failed to control supporters on 7th January and uttering statements that would bring football into dispute.

The statement further condemns in strongest terms uttering of statements such as suggesting bribing referees and promoting use of JuJu for the club to be winning games.

The board has since invited all club’s supporters zone leaders to a meeting on Saturday 14th at silver stadium.

Yesterday, the team’s Chief Executive Officer Thokozani Chimbali said that has taken a step asking board not to renew his contract following death threats from some section of the supporters.
