TUM Calls School Authorities To Refrain Mismanaging Funds

Teachers Union Of Malawi (TUM), has asked school authorities in the country to refrain from mismanaging funds meant for various development activities in their respective learning institutions

TUM general Secretary Charles kumchenga, observes that some school authorities in the country are mismanaging funds which government allocate them such as the School Improvement grant (SIG) among others

Kumchenga, has told Zodiak Online that from now onwards, the body will start punishing those that will be found embezzling such funds

He was speaking in Dowa yesterday during the training of all trainers (TOT’s) to equip them with knowledge on the new project called Social Accountability Within The Education Sector In Malawi the body intends to under take in all Schools across the country
