Political activist Bon Kalindo and Limpopo FM an online radio station, have accused President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera of allegedly inviting 67 chiefs from Salima, Ntchisi and Kasungu telling them not to allow opposition parties hold campaign meetings in their respective areas.
Kalindo said he has been reliably informed by some of the chiefs who allegedly met President Chakwera that they should use their youth to beat up opposition leaders addressing campaign meetings in their areas and government will protect them.
He said the chiefs have confided to him that they were given K350,000s each for them to continue good work of supporting the MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to bounce back into government to continue running government to 2030.
The activist has challenged President Chakwera that before starting killing opposition leaders addressing party meetings in the central region of Malawi, he should be the first one to be killed for his blood to fuel democratic revolution in Malawi.
“Arrest me, you cannot call 67 chiefs to a one meeting to block opposition parties from holding campaign meetings in the central region, this is not democracy,” said Kalindo.
On his part, Comrade Ntanyiwa said it is shame for the whole President who is an ordained Priest ordering chiefs to champion blocking opposition parties from holding campaign meetings in the central region of Malawi.
Ntanyiwa has asked President Chakwera to come back to his senses that if it was not for the DPP allowing them to campaign for Presidency throughout Malawi, he would not have been elected President of the country today.
He has appealed to Madam Dr. Joyce Banda to meet all opposition party leaders for one Alliance to oust the MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera out of government on the 16th September, 2025 assuring her that Limpopo FM is doing the other side.
The activist has asked 3 or 4 people in the DPP to change their heart that Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika would die reminding them that TB Joshua made a prophecy that Mutharika will die but him was the first to die and is smelling dust in the grave.
He said there are so many people in Malawi who are saying Professor Mutharika is too old for presidency advising all that the one to die today will not die tomorrow, God will give one million more days to Mutharika to shame all those that are escorting him for an early grave.
“There will be no good Alliance without Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, let APM lead and choose his running mate,” said Ntanyiwa.
He has finally thanked Dr. Joyce Banda for starting with an Alliance of 4 parties expressing hope that the good job she has started will continue with the other parties for them to forget their leadership roles and put the liberation of Malawi first, out of the hands of the MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
